Curious about what Highland Woodshop is all about, come join us to learn more about woodworking and Highland Woodshop in this great introductory class! We learn to four square mill rough lumber and make a cheese board as the final project. Cost is $175, registration is through Corvallis Parks Dept.

About the event
Hoping to get some introductory woodworking skills to get you going on that project you have always wanted to build? Join us in this course! In this class you will learn to safely use each of the large pieces of equipment in the woodshop, including table saw, jointer, planer, bandsaw, router table, and drill press. We will help you select material, mill wood and choose a proper finish, as you construct a beautifully crafted hardwood cutting board. This is a great introduction for anyone curious about woodworking. ($20 of the fee is for materials)
