Makerspace Tuesdays with Katherine Edmonds

Highland Woodshop is opening up another maker space evening with teacher, Katherine Edmonds. Katherine is a furniture maker and designer based here in Corvallis, Oregon. Katherine moved to Oregon from Athens, GA where she gained a Masters in Ecology from the University of Georgia in 2008. An introductory class at the Center for Furniture Craftsmanship shifted her path and kickstarted her career in furniture design, a road she's been on now for over 12 years. Katherine recently completed a Masters Degree in Design and Mechanical Engineering from OSU. She is excited to share her knew knowledge in design with students. Katherine has an easy going vibe that will inspire your learning. She‘s excited to connect with woodworkers in Corvallis on Tuesday evenings here at Highland Woodshop!  Other maker space nights include Thursdays with Nat. We continue to be available Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9am-1pm, with other times available by appointment.
