Chava Neuhaus, woodworker, boat builder and 30 year high school woodshop teacher is hosting her boat building mentor, Master Viking Boatbuilder, Jay Smith, of Aspøya Boats, Fidalgo Island, WA. He will give a talk on traditional hand tool history and techniques of the Norwegian lapstrake boat tradition.

You must RSVP for this event to receive directions. The event is being hosted at Chava's personal home and shop and we are capping the number of people at 20. If you intend to come we recommend that you RSVP early to save your spot.
Chava has also generously offered to welcome anyone who would like to stop by her shop Tuesday - Friday of that week (February 18th- 21st), 9 am-4 pm, as we'll be working and would invite people to watch or get involved in planing, chopping, fitting, riveting.... as we work. Please…
